Life Legacy

William "Wild Bill" Marshall, who owned the well known motorcycle shop Suicycle Xtreme on Auburn Boulevard, died March 15, 2012 of heart failure. He was 52.

Up until a week before his passing, you could always find Bill behind the counter of his shop with an infectious smile and welcoming hello. He was a true motorcycle enthusiast who loved to talk, "bench race", share stories, offer any advice and of course give a deal.

Born October 26,1959, Bill was always daring, strong, courageous and a leader. His passion for racing started young and with the opening of his first shop at the age of 19, his legacy began. He has always been known for having "the best deals in town" and "hooking people up". He treated his customers like friends always giving them 110%. He is a huge staple in the motorcycle community and inspiration to many.

He loved to ride, race, restore vintage Kawasakis and most of all, FISH! He's made great catches from Sacramento to Hawaii and up the Pacific Coast to Alaska. He was an advocate for children and spoke out very passionately against any form of child abuse. He always stood up for the underdog. His generous donations to various children's programs and the local dialysis unit where he received treatment for 7 years brought him tremendous joy.

He has two sons, Mason and Tyler Marshall, with his wife of 20 years, Robyn Marshall. The family loved to travel, ride and fish together. Bill took pride in his boys and teaching them everything he knew. He also very much enjoyed scenic drives to the beach with his best friend, his wife.

Bill always said "Everyday is like Christmas" and he meant it. He loved life, his family, his friends and his customers. His legacy will continue at the shop by his wife, kids and long time employee and friend, Heather Lynch.

As the family was not prepared for his passing, donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. The Bill Marshall Memorial Account is established. Donations can be made for Wells Fargo and Bank of America customers as a transfer to the account#6225461521, deposits to the account can also be made at your nearest Wells Fargo or in person at the shop in the donation box.

Public memorial ceremony, memorial ride and memorial MX race are being arranged so please check back for updates on these events.

May you ride in peace Bill as the Angel we all know you are.
