Linda Rue (Smith) Pickering
Linda was born on April 4, 1952 in Virginia and passed away at home in Antelope, California on January 28, 2010 after a short illness. She is preceded in death by her father, Cecil Smith. She is survived by her husband, David Franklin Pickering; mother, Lula Smith; sisters, Patricia Ann (Steven) Plantz, Frances Smith and Bonnie Smith; and brother, Robert Smith. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory be made to the American Cancer Society.
A celebration of life will be held in Antelope, California on Saturday, April 24, 2010. Further information will be posted as to time and location.
