Life Legacy

Jerome (Jerry) Wilcoxon was born in Auburn, CA on March 3, 1947. His family moved to Stockton, CA, where he spent most of his formative years. In 1961, the family moved to Alameda, CA. Jerome graduated from Alameda High School in 1965.

He was drafted in 1966 and served in Vietnam 1967-69 in the 4th Infantry, US Army. During this time, he was twice wounded and received 2 Purple Hearts. He also was awarded a Bronze Star for bravery in combat and a Commendation for service in Vietnam.

Most of Jerome's adult life was spent in the elevator trade. He also worked in concrete, pest control, and as a handyman and caretaker for our dear family friends, Maryanne and Champ Clark.

He was married for many years to Willyne Wilcoxon and helped raise six stepchildren and 2 grandchildren.

In his later years, he was a resident of Clear Lake Oaks, CA.

For more information, see "Jerry's book" under the Historical Documents section. (It takes about a minute for the .pdf file to upload.)
